Zoo fun with grandma and grandpa

This is a day late but yesterday in New Year's Eve Eve we got to go to the zoo with grandma and grandpa Formanek. We started out not sure if we wanted to continue because the lines were insanely Lon to get in but it ended up not being too bad in the actual park.
Here are the boys excited to go and find some animals!
We started out at the monkeys and gorillas and then made out way to look at the old part of the zoo. We have had our zoo passes for a couple years now and we have never been down to that section before. It is the only street in the park that has been the same since the zoo opened. Everything was very old looking but it was fun to see what the original zoo looked like.
We then headed to see the sea lion show called camp critters. They wouldn't let us take strollers in so mike had to walk around and push maverick while I went in with hunter. He was so excited when all of the parrots flew around the stadium.
At the end they had all of the animals lined up so the kids could come up and let them. Hunter got to go up and let this HUGE dog
He was so excited to touch it.
We went and saw the goats in the petting zoo next and then headed home. We had too very tired children at the end.
